Institutional Governance

Support & Independence

Advancing rigorous, unbiased legal, technical, and market frameworks requires unwavering institutional integrity, complete funding transparency, and research autonomy.

Our Independence Policy

The International Digitalization Forum is an independent, non-profit policy think tank. Our research agendas, model statutes, architectural specifications, and published findings are developed strictly under the intellectual authority of our scholars, working group chairs, and governance boards.

“Financial contributions, enterprise membership dues, and philanthropic grants never confer the right to dictate research conclusions, alter policy drafts, or suppress scientific findings.”

We maintain a strict boundary between programmatic funding and intellectual governance. All research is subjected to independent peer review and open stakeholder consultation before institutional publication.

Funding Governance Framework

Three foundational pillars governing our financial support and institutional integrity.

1. Funding Diversification

To prevent institutional capture, the Forum actively diversifies its support base across philanthropic foundations, individual donors, academic grants, and ICDBIA membership dues.

2. Full Transparency

We maintain transparent records of institutional contributors and enterprise members. All corporate affiliations of participating researchers and working group leaders are openly disclosed.

3. Conflict of Interest Vetting

All prospective funding streams undergo rigorous review by our governance committee to ensure alignment with our foundational mission of preserving individual human agency.
